Feast Day Festivities!

Hey all! Just wanted to post some pictures of our day!!!

Here's how we have been celebrating the Feast of the Assumption!



Our friend made us some beautiful, little herb bouquets to leave at Church this morning! The kids loved that!

I transformed our dining room into an enchanted indoor garden for dinner. Isaiah was loving the lights on the ceiling!
What kid wouldn't?! Christmas... in August?

The kids enjoyed coloring some pictures of Momma Mary while I made us some earth tacos.
If you haven't tried making some meatless tacos - I highly recommend that you get on that!

I decided to make a more "fun" dessert to share as a family this evening.
Sugar cookies with cream-cheese-cool-whip "clouds"....
with strawberries and blueberries on top!

RED berries to represent Jesus' sacred heart - taking His mother's immaculate heart to be with Him in heaven.

We all loved assembling and DEVOURING these!
